Registration is now open for the Academia-Industry Matching Event “Controls for Accelerators and Detectors”, taking place in Athens, Greece, on 2 and 3 December.
This event aims to bring together Academia and Industry to share ideas and potential applications in Technology of Controls, providing an overview of current Controls Systems for large scale projects including the LHC, and the CMS and ATLAS Experiments from CERN, and medical accelerator facilities, including contributions from companies active in these fields.
The program will also address some of the challenges faced by future High Energy Physics projects in the controls area providing a glimpse into the future requirements of Large Accelerator Facilities including projects like the European Spallation Source (ESS), and the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI), while exploring possible different approaches to the commercialisation of control technology.
This event is organised by AUEB, CERN, IASA, NCUA, NCSR Demokritos and NTUA together with the HEPTech Network.
