On 27 August 2016, the IT Department’s Communication Systems Group will perform a major reorganisation of CERN’s General Purpose Network. This reorganisation will cause network interruptions on 27 August 2016 (and possibly 28 August 2016) and will be followed by a change to the IP addresses of connected systems that will come into effect on 3 October 2016.
