Round Table : “Science: the invisible interweaving of immersive art?”
20.00 – 21.30

Public discussion moderated by Virtual Switzerland’s director, Laetitia Bochud, bringing together artists, researchers, and thinkers who work and/or create with immersive and spatial tools. They will exchange on how scientific research underlies the creative and narrative process, as well as how research gains access to the public via artworks. Often, at the core of art lies an existential or scientific quest. It is not always apparent and neither well explained, although both art & science enrich each other.

The panel is followed by a round of Q&A with the public.

Prior to the event, the Big Bang café will stay open until 20.00. Enjoy a light meal with sandwiches and drinks for a great start to the evening.

Table ronde : « Science : l’entrelacement invisible de l’art immersif ? »

Discussion publique animée par Laetitia Bochud, directrice de Virtual Switzerland, réunissant des artistes, des chercheurs·euses et des penseurs·ses travaillant et/ou créant avec des outils immersifs et spatiaux. Ils échangeront sur la manière dont la recherche scientifique sous-tend le processus créatif et narratif, ainsi que sur la façon dont la recherche accède au public via les œuvres d’art. Souvent, au cœur de l’art réside une quête existentielle ou scientifique qui n’est pas toujours apparente ni bien expliquée, bien que l’art et la science s’enrichissent mutuellement.

La table ronde sera suivie d’une séance de questions-réponses avec le public.
